Navarro Slams 5 Hits for Indianapolis
After the <Indianapolis:team#93> 8-7 victory over <Guadalajara:team#273> and his 5-hit day center fielder <José Navarro:player#14315> told BNN beat writers, "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college ball, two hits in a game are very good... three or four hits even better... 5 or more are out of sight... and if it is in pro ball... it is really something special."

The 27-year-old player gained that distinction today at Charros Ballpark with a spectacular 5 for 7 game against the <Guadalajara Charros:team#273>.

The skipper of the Arrows spoke glowingly of <Navarro:player#14315>, telling BNN writers, "His swing is getting there. We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. <José:player#14315> did that to perfection today."

<José Navarro:player#14315> flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off <Jim Unknown:player#3300> in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th, singled in the 9th, grounded out in the 11th, flied out in the 13th and hit an RBI double in the 15th.

So far this season <Navarro:player#14315> has 4 home runs and a .319 batting average.
